What is SEO?
SEO refers to Search Engine Optimization which helps search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing to understand the content we have published on our website, then they present it to the user according to their query (searches).

Why do we need to do SEO?
To answer this question, you need to assume that you have opened a brand new restaurant in a market, and despite having the world’s best menu, you are not getting enough customers. Here marketing comes in the role of increasing your sales by increasing awareness of your restaurant and its tasty dishes.
The same thing goes with your website, there are billions of websites on the internet and probably you would not get a single visitor from the internet. Here SEO comes in the role of lifting your website to the top ten results of Google or other search engine’s results.
What are the types of SEO?
Typically there are three types of SEO:-
- On-Page SEO:- On-page SEO is a strategy that an SEO Expert implements on web pages to fulfill Google algorithms. These activities include optimizing titles, meta descriptions, image optimization, keyword optimization, interlinking web pages, etc.
- Off-Page SEO:- Off-page SEO includes all work that SEO experts do outside of the website to increase website preferability by Google. They create referral links, which we call backlinks pointing to your website. It indicates to Google a positive sign about your website.
- Technical SEO:- This SEO refers to all the corrections we make in website architecture, adding some SEO-related codes to the website, and creating SEO-important files like sitemap.xml, robots.txt, and more.

What do we do in SEO? What is website auditing in SEO?
Well, it is not as easy as it looks, it took time to learn but I can write here some tasks that we perform.
At first, we audit the website and find out some issues like, whether does website has an SSL certificate, does the website has a proper URL structure, indexability, mobile responsiveness, user interface, loading time, content readability, image quality, and relevancy, and much more.
How does SEO improve a website’s visitors and popularity?
SEO is all about your content research and presenting it to the user in such a manner that more and more users can engage with it. Whenever we do SEO we keep in our mind that we are not doing SEO for Google but for users.
Here are some points which explain it more clearly.
Content Research:- This is the most important part we need to do in SEO. Users need to do something new every time sticking with your old published products, service details or blogs would not help you to grow further with time.
So we need to research an interesting topic for which people are searching on Google for this we get help from Google itself. Probably you have noticed that when we search for something on Google it shows a list of websites aligned with a section which is called “ People also search for”.
This section could help you to get more idea about your topic you can use some tools like Google Trends, neilpatel’s Answer the Public, etc.
Keyword Research:– The second thing is keyword research which is connected to content research because when we search about the content we also do the keyword research at the same time so that our work doesn’t go to vein.
Before preparing content you should have a clear idea about the top keywords searched in Google related to your niche or service category then select 4-5 keywords. It gives your work a path to success.
Working on your content would be fruitful when its keyword fulfills these three criteria.
- Good Search Volume.
- Low or medium seo difficulty.
- The keyword bid value should be good.
Keyword Optimization:- After all these works we need to optimize these keywords in our content carefully without spoiling the user experience and Google algorithms.
