Nowadays, everyone wants to live a healthier life. Especially those people who are living in cities because there are no natural resources that can improve our living life. 85% of people who are living in the cities are dependent on fast food.

Instead of urban people, who are living in the villages, they are very well built, because they are engaged in some physical activity that makes them able to conflict with any physical and mental problem. Often we see those who are living in urban areas, bit by bit they are facing different kinds of problems. E.g. obesity, mental issues from childhood, and sometimes it can be any disability. Why are they facing these kinds of issues?  Because there is lots of pollution and people don’t want to do anything for their health it will become a problem for our posterity.

So, in this article, we will discuss what are the subtleties that make us unhealthy and how we can measure them.

1.) Stay Active: Activeness is a very significant thing that makes you able to do any kind of work. Perhaps, you have listened to your elders that, be active in your work, if you are not active so, you will feel inactive or lazy, and that is the main reason for the issue. So, be active at any point in time and try to engage with any kind of work. Most of the people in urban areas go to the gym and sometimes they take yoga classes. If you don’t have time to attend the gym and these kinds of practices you can do it at home, which will be also effective.

2.) Do Meditation Muring Sunrise And Before Sunset: we all are aware that meditation plays a very significant role in our lives but nobody wants to do it. It will decrease our irritation and give us a fresh mood to do any kind of activity, even if the park is near your residence, so try to go to the park before sunrise and strive for meditation.

With meditation, we have to take a long breath and after that release it. This makes your body sanctified and you will feel pure and also decreases stress in your brain.

3.) Eat Fruits: If we want to stabilize our body we have to eat fresh fruits instead of other things, and sometimes doctors also recommend that eat more and more fruits that will improve your immunity and if you are engaged with the gymnasium or any kind of workout station,  so you should eat an apple and one coconut water instead of any protein powder, etc.

4.) Get Enough Sleep: Getting enough sleep is essential for overall health and well-being. To achieve this, establish a bedtime routine that signals your body that it’s time to sleep, such as reading, meditation, or a warm bath. Stick to a sleep schedule, going to bed, and waking up at the same time every day, including weekends. Create a sleep environment by making your bedroom dark, quiet, cool, and comfortable. Avoid screens before bed, as the blue light can affect your eyes and mind also, and limit stimulating activities like exercise.

Avoid caffeine and nicotine, which can disrupt sleep patterns, and try relaxation techniques like deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, and mindfulness meditation. morning sunlight helps to make your day happy, so get some natural light in the morning. If you’re struggling with sleep, avoid feeling inactive and consult a healthcare professional for guidance. Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep each night to feel rested, refreshed, and ready to take on the day.

5.) Public Transport Or Walking: Using public transport or walking is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint and improve your overall health. Public transport can significantly reduce air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions while saving money on fuel and vehicle maintenance reducing stress and increasing productivity.

Conversely, walking provides numerous physical and mental health benefits, including boosting the immune system, strengthening bones, and reducing stress and anxiety. It’s also a great way to clear your mind and increase creativity. Plus, walking is a zero-emission mode of transportation and is cost-free! By incorporating public transport or walking into your daily routine, you can make a positive impact on the environment while also improving your health and wellbeing.

6. Explore Green Spaces: Exploring green spaces is a wonderful way to connect with nature and improve your overall well-being. Green spaces, such as parks, gardens, and forests, offer a multi benefits. Spending time in nature has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood and boost vitamin D levels, support physical activity and exercise, encourage social connections and community building, and provide opportunities for relaxation and mindfulness.

Whether you take a walk or jog, practice yoga or meditation, read a book, or simply sit in nature, exploring green spaces is essential for our health and happiness. So, take a step outside connect with the natural world, and discover joy and calmness.

7. Be Mindful Of Air Quality: Air quality problems, such as particulate matter, nitrogen dioxide, ozone, and chlorofluorocarbon, can cause respiratory issues and such kinds of problems. To address these issues, measures can be taken to reduce exposure and improve air quality. Using air purifiers and wearing masks can help remove pollutants and particulate matter from indoor and outdoor air. Checking air quality indexes can also help plan activities to avoid heavily polluted times.

Additionally, reducing emissions by using public transport, driving electric/hybrid vehicles, and maintaining vehicles to reduce emissions, can also make a significant impact. Creating clean air zones, such as smoke-free areas and green spaces, and promoting eco-friendly practices in industries can also contribute to improved air quality. Try to walk in the early morning, as well as educate and raise awareness about air quality issues, can also help create a healthier environment and make our urban life better.

8. Stay Hydrated: Staying hydrated is crucial for our bodies to function better. Drinking enough water helps regulate body temperature, transport nutrients, and oxygen to cells, remove waste products, maintain healthy skin, hair, and muscles, support kidney function, and boost energy levels. Aim to drink at least 4 liters of water per day, according to age, sex, weight, activity level, and climate. Additionally, consume hydrating foods like fruits and vegetables, and herbal teas. By prioritizing hydration, we can maintain our overall health and well-being, stay focused and energized, and perform at our best.
